During Your Stay
Day 1 – Sit back and relax as we travel to The Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis.
Day 2 – We pick up our packed lunches and head to the seaside resort of Llandudno. Here, we visit The Great Orme, Llandudno’s mini-mountain range, designated as a Country Park, Special Area of Conservation and a Heritage Coast.
Day 3 – After breakfast we visit Betws-y-Coed, also known as ‘the Gateway to Snowdonia’. This magical setting has a distinctly Alpine feel – which is thanks to the mainly surrounding Gwydyr Forest. We then spend the afternoon in Llanrwst, a little town that sits on the east bank of the River Conwy.
Day 4 – Today we visit Portmeirion, a unique village which was created by the architect Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1976 and is set on its own private peninsula. Surrounded by 70 acres of sub-tropical woodland gardens, Portmeirion is home to iconic exotic gardens, architecture, stylish shops, award-winning restaurants and an Italian ice cream parlour!
Day 5 – After breakfast we visit Chester. Bewitching, beautiful and unique, the ancient city of Chester is one of Britain’s most popular places to visit – and its not hard to see why! Home to the most complete city walls in England, the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain and a stunning cathedral, over 1000 years old. After some free time, we return home.
