During Your Stay
Day 1 – We travel to our hotel in central Plymouth, after check-in you are free to explore the local area. Located on Exeter Street near the city’s Historic Quarter. So perhaps head to the Royal William Yard on the waterfront, home to beautiful listed military buildings housing restaurants, bars and galleries.
Day 2 – After a leisurely morning we visit the seaside town of Looe. The town prides itself on its fresh fish, so whether you fancy some award-winning fish and chips or a gourmet burger in smart restaurants overlooking the harbour, you won’t be disappointed!
Day 3 – Exploring Devon: We visit Torquay, a traditional yet thriving seaside town set on Torbay, Devon’s English Riviera coast. With its iconic palm trees, busy harbour, international marina, sandy beach and a wonderful array of continental style cafés and bars for you to enjoy. Later, we travel to Cockington, a picturesque village that oozes with history – there’s a watermill, a forge and a cricket pitch that was once a medieval deer park.
Day 4 – Exploring Cornwall: Today we visit the incredible Eden Project, home to the largest indoor rainforest in the world. Look out for the canopy walkway where you can walk amongst the treetops and keep your eyes peeled for exotic fruits growing, including bananas! Afterwards, we travel to Liskeard for the remainder of the day. Boasting many original Victorian shop fronts and interiors, you can explore the Guild Hall, Clock Tower and a Town Hall.
Day 5 – Before returning home we visit RHS Garden Rosemoor. Surrounded by woodland, the garden features inspiring displays, including the largest rose garden in the south west, the stunning Hot Garden, Devon Cottage Garden and bluebell carpeted woodlands.
