Escape to the enchanting city of Prague on this festive getaway. Known as the ‘Golden City’ it’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world! On this break, you can also experience Andrea Bocelli – classical music’s biggest‐selling living artist. Best known for his performance with Sarah Brightman on this song ‘Con Te Partiro’ (Time to Say Goodbye).

During Your Stay

Day 1 – We travel to Newcastle, where we will board our DFDS cruise ferry. After settling into your cabins you are then free to enjoy the various facilities and entertainment on board as we sail away into the night.

Day 2 – Arriving in Amsterdam, today we will travel to Dresden, Germany where we spend one night half board.

Day 3 – After breakfast, enjoy free time in Dresden home to the ‘Striezelmarkt’ – now celebrating its 585th year, it claims to be the oldest Christmas market in Germany! Afterwards, we continue to our main hotel in Kutná Hora for a 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast stay.

Day 4 – After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy free time to explore the historical Kutna Hora, this ancient silver mining town is one of the Czech Republic’s most popular destinations. Perhaps visit the Church of St Barbara, one of the most famous Gothic churches in central Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later today, you can join us for an optional visit to the Andrea Bocelli concert in Prague.

Day 5 – Discover the best of Prague today with a fascinating guided tour. Admire the glorious architecture of the UNESCO historic centre, formed of the Old Town, New Town and Lesser Town. Hear stories behind the sites, and see some of the cities most interesting attractions including Prague Castle, Europe’s largest castle complex and the Astronomical Clock.

Day 6 – After breakfast we travel to Brno, a city in the Czech Republic to explore its fascinating Christmas Markets. Spread across four squares in the city centre, each with their own distinctive feel you can explore the; Zelny Trh (Vegetable Market), Moravské Náměstí (Moravian Square), the Dominíkánské Náměstí (Dominican Square) and the Svobody Namesti (Freedom Square) the largest of the markets.

Day 7 – Today we travel to Duisburg for one night dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 8 – Visit Amsterdam for a little free time. As the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam has more than 800 years of history to discover. From ancient churches to magnificent museums, quaint streets and the city’s world‐famous canals there’s lots of things to see and do in this alluring city. After some free time, we will return to our cruise ferry for our overnight sailing back to Newcastle.

Day 9 – Arriving this morning in Newcastle, our comfortable coach will take us back home.
