Weston-super-Mare & Somerset Summer Splendour

GLASTONBURY,

WELLS & CHEDDAR GORGE (FULL DAY): The ancient market town of Glastonbury, is home to a famous Tor, a beautiful Abbey and a wide range of shops and cafés to explore. We also visit Wells, England's smallest city which boasts a magnificent cathedral and Vicar's Close, the oldest medieval street in Europe. We return to our hotel via a drive through the spectacular Cheddar Gorge, Britain's deepest gorge, unsurprisingly an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

WESTON-SUPER-MARE

(FULL DAY): Steeped with Victorian History and dominated by a long stretch of glorious sandy beach, this seaside town offers plenty of fish and chip shops, amusements, and beautiful Edwardian style tearooms to enjoy, alongside a vast array of attractions and shopping opportunities to explore.

WEST SOMERSET RAILWA

MINEHEAD & DUNSTER (FULL DAY): Nestled at the foot of the Quantock Hills, Bishops Lydeard is a vibrant village with a wonderful mixture of local attractions and amenities. Here, we have arranged a journey on the West Somerset Railway - the longest heritage railway in England! Our nostalgic 20-mile journey will take us to the traditional seaside town of Minehead, home to a fishing quarter and an historic harbour. We also visit the village of Dunster, set between the foothills of Exmoor National Park, Dunster is probably the largest and most intact medieval village in England!
