SKEGNESS
(FULL DAY): This seaside resort comes with the classic English seaside holiday activities; the donkey rides on the beach, the pier, the crazy golf, but there’s more to come from this Lincolnshire town. 'Skeggy', as it’s affectionately known, is home to several regular international arts and music festivals which transform the town every year. With rollercoaster rides and a seal sanctuary there’s also plenty for kids to enjoy, whether it’s the thrills of a ride or the joy of seeing seal pups on their way back to being reintroduced to the wild. With a Blue Flag beach, Skegness has something for everyone.
BOSTON &
SPALDING (FULL DAY): We will visit Boston, on its busy market day. Here, you can browse over 120 stalls offering a diverse range of gifts and locally produced goods. After that, we take you to Spalding; if you're all shopped out take time to relax at 'Ayscoughfee Hall and Gardens'.
MABLETHORPE &
CLEETHORPES (OPTIONAL FULL DAY): These two traditional seaside destinations make for a perfect day out! Mablethorpe has always been a family favourite. Stroll along the promenade and you’ll be spoilt for choice with so many places to eat, drink and relax. Cleethorpes beach also offers a long stretch of picturesque coastline, where you can sit in the sun, or paddle in the waters off the coast or visit the arcades.
Quorn Hotel ***, Skegness
The Quorn is a family run hotel situated on the Skegness promenade and is just 100 yards from the beach, bowling greens and pier. It is only a 5-minute walk to the shops and town centre. Guest bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and some offer sea views. Each room is equipped with tea/coffee facilities, a digital TV, and hair dryers. The restaurant, overlooking the sea front, offers a varied menu of freshly prepared home cooked food and includes an award winning breakfast. Guests are also welcome to take advantage of the spacious licensed bar.
