Day 1
We take you to Bury, for free time perhaps visit the Bury Transport Museum where the industrial heritage of the North West is brought to life through stunningly restored vehicles and original artefacts. Later we have arranged a journey on the East Lancashire Steam Railway with cream tea included. With a storied history stretching back to the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, the East Lancashire Railway is the steam powered heart of the Irwell Valley, transporting goods and people around the region for nearly 200 years! The line runs through scenic Lancastrian landscapes, from beautiful rural panoramas and postcard pretty villages to bustling Victorian towns and cotton mill dotted horizons.
DDay 2
This morning we board our cruise on the award-winning Widebeam Canal Boat Kingfisher with a hot drink included. Relax once again as we pass through delightful countryside with views stretching towards the Bowland Fells. On our return home, we visit Barton Grange Garden Centre.
