Day 1
Sit back and relax as we take you to Hereford for a couple of hour’s free time. Located on the River Wye, this Cathedral city has an historic centre filled with independent shops for you to enjoy. This afternoon we continue to our hotel in Tenby.
Day 2
This morning we visit the charming walled town of Pembroke. Dating back 900 years, it’s most famous for its Norman Castle – Pembroke Castle is one of the most complete Norman castles in the UK – it is also the birthplace on Henry VII, founder of the Tudor dynasty. After some free time, this afternoon we travel to St David’s, the UK’s smallest city. Perhaps visit the 12th Century Cathedral; it is one of Wales’ most iconic religious sites and sits tucked away in a sheltered vale besides the River Alun. Here you can learn all about the history of St David’s and visit the impressive Treasury collection.
B, DDay 3
Today we have a day at leisure with free time to explore Saundersfoot.
B, DDay 4
Our first stop today is in Swansea, Wales’s ‘Waterfront City’. Afterwards, we travel to Mumbles, which marks the beginning of the Gower Peninsula’s coastline and is home to some world-class ice cream – but don’t just take our word for it! This afternoon we take you to the Gower Heritage Centre; where we will be joined by a knowledgeable guide who will take us on a guided tour of the Gower Peninsula from the comfort of our coach. Afterwards, we will return to the centre to enjoy a traditional cream tea.

After breakfast we begin our journey back home.

Merlewood Hotel **, Saundersfoot
Situated on the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast, Merlewood Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Saundersfoot Harbour. With impressive sea views, there is also a swimming pool and restaurant. The traditional rooms at the Merlewood have en suite bathrooms and tea and coffee facilities. The restaurant serves popular bar meals and snacks, and the bar features a table tennis and a small terrace with outdoor seating.
