DAY 1
With comfort stops along the way, we travel to our popular hotel in Kamp Bornhofen, one of the most beautiful areas in Germany. On arrival we enjoy a complimentary Schnapps!
DAY 2
Today we visit Cochem and Koblenz - two of the most beautiful and oldest towns in Germany. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty; Cochem is regarded as the most romantic part of the Moselle Valley, whilst Koblenz, a 2000-year-old town is the meeting point of the Rhine and the Moselle River and has an abundance of cultural monuments and historical buildings.
DAY 3
This morning we visit Rüdesheim for free time. Located in the Rhine River gorge, this picturesque winemaking town is most famous for its production of Asbach Brandy, that's been in production here since 1892. Stroll along 'Drosselgasse', the town's main street that winds its way through the historic heart of Rüdesheim and boats timber-framed houses garlanded with vines, as well as taverns, souvenir shops, restaurants and bars. After some free time this afternoon, we travel to Wiesbaden, for the remainder of the day. Explore the city's grand architecture from neo?classical to Art Nouveau. Later this afternoon, we return to the hotel where you can prepare for this evening's New Year's Eve festivities! Our evening meal will be followed by a magnificent firework display put on by our wonderful hosts - the Wagner family!
DAY 4
We spend our New Year's Day at leisure in the comfort of our hotel. After breakfast, enjoy a scenic walk into Kamp?Bornhofen, this friendly village offers traditional timber-framed buildings which house charming cafés, restaurants and shops with a laid?back atmosphere.
DAY 5
Ready for whatever the new year has in store, we retrace our footsteps home.
