YARMOUTH (FULL DAY): Our first visit today is to Freshwater. Its most famous landmark is Freshwater Bay, one of the most picturesque beaches on the island, which is easily recognised by its chalk cliffs and the imposing "Stag" and "Mermaid" rocks. Afterwards, we take you to the small town of Yarmouth for free time. The historic port with a pretty marina sits at the mouth of the River Yar and contains some of the oldest architecture on the Isle of Wight, including a 16th century castle.

(HALF DAY): This morning we take you to East Cowes. The town's most famous visitor and resident was Queen Victoria who built her summer home, Osborne House, here. This afternoon, we'll return to the hotel to prepare for this evening's fantastic New Year's Eve celebrations - dinner will be followed by an evening of entertainment and a raffle!

(FULL DAY): Sitting on the southern coast of the Isle of Wight, Sandown is sheltered in a beautiful bay, and is famed for its long stretches of golden sandy beaches and traditional British seafront and pier. After a delicious breakfast, maybe venture down to the beach for Sandown's annual New Year's Day Swim (which starts at 12pm)!
