Day 1
With a comfort stop en route, we make our way to Harrogate for free time before arriving at our hotel. Home to historic buildings and decorative gardens, Harrogate is one of Yorkshire's most elegant destinations.
Day 2
A full day visit today takes us first to the charming Northumbrian market town of Alnwick with its fairytale castle often referred to as 'the Windsor of the North'. This afternoon we visit the cosmopolitan Geordieland capital city of Newcastle. Newcastle has so much to offer today from the beautiful architecture of the city walls, the contemporary Quayside home to waterfront bars and galleries and the MetroCentre, Europe's largest shopping and retail park!
Day 3
After breakfast we visit Durham, a 'perfect little city' and home to one of the most recognisable landmarks in the UK, the majestic Durham Cathedral, and the adjacent Durham Castle. Enjoy free time to explore the city before returning home this afternoon.
