We travel to Aylesbury, a bustling market town is best known for producing the ‘tastiest’ duck in the 19th century! During your free time perhaps visit the Buckingham County Museum, which features the famous Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery. Later we continue to our 4-star hotel.

This morning we visit ancient Roman city of Bath, famous for its elegant buildings and diverse range of restaurants, independent shops, theatres and pubs. The natural hot spring baths that give the city its name is still popular today, while the sweeping row of 30 terraced houses known as the Royal Crescent appeared in the film sets of countless film and TV sets, including Jane Austen’s Persuasion. After we return to our hotel, why not enjoy the facilities and 16 acres of landscaped gardens.

A leisurely start this morning followed by an afternoon visit to nearby thriving market town of Marlborough, set in the North Wessex Downs, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
B, DDay 4
Today we visit the picturesque Highclere Castle, best known as the Edwardian country home of the hit TV series “Downton Abbey”. We include admission into the castle, gardens and the popular Egyptian Exhibition.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast we visit Oxford, the setting of the TV dramas Inspector Morse, Lewis and Endeavour. You’ll get to see many of the places recognisable from these much-loved detective series including the Randolph Hotel and the White Horse pub, as well as Broad Street!
