LLANGOLLEN WHARF
HORSE DRAWN TRIP (HALF DAY): Experience the pace of life in "the olden days" whilst gazing out at one of the most beautiful canals n Britain and admire the strength of the gorgeous horses as they easily pull your boat through the water.
LLANDUDNO & CONWY
(FULL DAY): Developed as an upmarket seaside holiday town for its Edwardian and Victorian visitors, Llandudno is now Wales largest resort, uniquely situated between the Great and Little Ormes, it is home to a magnificent promenade, tearooms, and shops. Later, we visit Conwy, designated as World Heritage Site most famous for its magnificent 13th Century Castle and walls, as well as a quaint harbour.
MOLD
(FULL DAY):An attractive and busy market town, located east of the Clwydian Mountain range, it's most notable building is the historic 15th Century church of St Mary's, rebuilt by Margaret Beaufort in honour of her son Henry VII, the first Tudor king of England. Wednesday is Market Day when over 70 stall holders from all over Wales gather for a vibrant and electric weekly event.
SNOWDON MOUNTAIN
RAILWAY & LLANBERIS (FULL DAY): After a brief visit to Betws-Y-Coed. We also visit Llanberis, where we board the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Described as one of the most unique and wonderful railway journeys in the world, this railway runs from Llanberis to the summit of Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales.
NB, For the 2022 season the service is only going as far as Clogwyn Station which is 3/4 of the way to the summit of Mount Snowdon (2 hour round trip including 30 min photo-opportunity stop at this unsheltered station).
Set in the beautiful North Welsh countryside, Beaufort Park Hotel is an independently run hotel situated close to the historic market town of Mold. It offers confortable bedrooms, a restaurant and a relaxed bar.
