Day 1
We travel north of the border for a stop in Moffat, a vibrant, bustling town offering the warmest Scottish welcome, before continuing to Adamton County House Hotel in Prestwick.
Day 2
This morning we visit the pretty seaside village of Alloway, birthplace of Scotlands' greatest poet Robbie Burns followed by the afternoon spent in the charming seaside town of Troon.
Day 3
We set sail to the Isle of Arran, often referred to as "Scotland in Miniature" - be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the abundance of wildlife from otters to basking sharks and over 100 species of birds. Arran is home to dramatic mountain peaks, sheltered beaches and verdant forests. Here, we include a circular tour and some free time in Brodick, the main settlement on the island offering a selection of shops and cafes.
Day 4
Today you can join us for an optional excursion* as we we enjoy a coastal drive via the mysterious natural phenomenon Electric Brae and along the scenic Culzean Bay, before making our way to the ancient fishing town of Girvan. Here you can see Ailsa Grant, the plug of a now extinct volcano. This afternoon we visit the popular seaside town of Ayr.
Day 5
After breakfast we visit Dumfries, home of Robbie Burns, and the place where he produced most of his work including the iconic Auld Lang Syne! After some free time, we return home.
