Day 1
Once on board, we head straight to York, home to the awe-inspiring York Minster, one of the most beautiful Gothic cathedrals in the world! Winner of the most picturesque street in Britain, The Shambles is an ideal place to start the day and is perfectly placed to lead you onto the many boutiques, gift shops and high street favourites that lie in the streets beyond. After a little free time we will continue to our hotel.
Day 2
Explore the charming coastal town of Hartlepool today! Enjoy the magnificent spectacle and witness the international fleet of Tall Ships on the UK leg of their famous annual European race.
Day 3
After breakfast we visit the traditional North Yorkshire Market town of Thirsk. Essentially unchanged and uninfluenced by the world, Thirsk has a charm all its own. The major attraction is the Wonderful World of James Herriot, a part TV set, part museum to the popular 'All Creatures Great and Small' drama series (not included).
