LLANDUDNO &
THE GREAT ORME (FULL DAY): - We head to the seaside resort of Llandudno, where we visit The Great Orme for a photo opportunity. Llandudno's mini-mountain range is designated as a Country Park Special Area of Conservation and a Heritage Coast.
BETWS-Y-COED
LLANRWST (HALF DAY): After breakfast we visit Betws-y-Coed, also known as 'the Gateway to Snowdonia'. This magical setting has a distinctly Alpine feel - which is thanks to the mainly surrounding Gwydyr Forest. We then spend the afternoon in Llanrwst, a little town that sits on the east bank of the River Conwy.
PORTMEIRION
(HALF DAY): Today we visit Portmeirion, a unique village which was created by the architect Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1976 and is set on its own private peninsula. Surrounded by 70 acres of sub-tropical woodland gardens, Portmeirion is home to iconic exotic gardens, architecture, stylish shops, award-winning restaurants and an Italian ice cream parlour! Later, we return to our hotel for an afternoon at leisure and an evening of entertainment following our meal.
