DAY 1
We travel to the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, with Christmas lights sparkling in the trees along The Stray, the town has a truly magical, festive feel. Head to the town centre and pick up a unique hand-made gift - the perfect stocking filler for a loved one (or to keep!).
DAY 2
After breakfast we visit Newcastle Christmas Market, recently voted as one of the UK's best markets, full of festive cheer, twinkling lights and seasonal decorations. Enjoy the taste of Europe and indulge in some of your favourite foodie treats from chocolate crepes, Dutch pancakes and waffles. Once you've bought something scrumptious to eat, browse the wooden market stalls and discover hand-made gifts - great presents for friends, family or even as a secret Santa gift!
DAY 3
This morning we visit Durham for some free time continuing home. Home to cobbled streets and crowned by the dramatic Durham Cathedral, explore the cathedral's fascinating heritage and enjoy some of the special carol services or Christmas concerts.
