BRIGHTON (FULL DAY): We visit Beachy Head, famous for its spectacular white cliffs and dramatic coastline created by the Seven Sisters landmark. After a photo opportunity we head to Brighton, from the exotic Royal Pavilion to the new British Airways i360, Brighton has a wealth of attractions and no seaside day out to Brighton would be complete without a visit to Brighton Palace Pier or Brighton Sea Life Centre, the World's Oldest Aquarium.

(FULL DAY): Located on the seafront overlooking the famous flower decked promenade bandstand and beautiful Victorian pier, our hotel is situated perfectly to help you get the most out of your free day. The Eastbourne Lifeboat Museum and the Winter Gardens are a leisurely walk away or perhaps you would prefer Eastbourne's Miniature Steam Railway.

(FULL DAY): Soak up Hasting's immense history in the preserved Old Town which lies in a valley between the East and West Hills, each with their own funicular railway (not included). Take the East Hill up to Hastings Country Park or the West Hill Lift to the ruins of Hastings Castle. We also visit Battle, named after the most famous conflict on English soil, the Battle of Hastings, fought in 1066.

& CARR TAYLOR VINEYARD TOUR & TASTING (AUGUST ONLY) (FULL DAY): Taking place at Strand Quay, Rye Farmers Market offers a delicious range of local food, drink, and crafts. Later, we have arranged for a tour and tasting at Carr Taylor Vineyard. Located in the heart of 1066 country, our tour will include a visit to the winery to see the vats and presses used and to learn about some of the wine-making techniques, this is followed by a tasting of some wines!

(HALF DAY): At the heart of rural Sussex lies the beautiful country town of Lewes. Although surrounded by chalk cliffs, the townscape of medieval streets and tiny 'twittens' is dominated by the remains of a Normal castle and is also home to the handsome townhouse of Anne of Cleves (fourth wife of King Henry VII).

OPTIONAL EXCURSION: Capturing the essence of heritage and urban chic, the much-conserved quaint market town of Arundel has a medieval castle and Roman Catholic cathedral, combined with a wealth of independent shops and contemporary art
