ALNWICK
BERWICK-UPON-TWEED & LINDISFARNE (FULL DAY): Dating back to 600AD the market town of Alnwick is home to the stunning Alnwick Castle and the impressive Alnwick Gardens. We also travel to Berwick-upon-Tweed for a leisurely lunch stop and the Holy Isle of Lindisfarne. Lying just off the Northumberland Coast, the Holy Island is an unspoilt village that is cut off twice a day from the rest of the world. (the timings of this day will be clarified during your trip as it may be dependent on tide times.)
DURHAM
(FULL DAY): Home to one of the most recognisable landmarks in the UK, the majestic Durham Cathedral, and the adjacent Durham Castle. This UNESCO World Heritage Site forms one of the most stunning city panoramas in Europe.
