Visit to Greenwich
Day 1
Travel to Kew Gardens for the Chrysanthemum Festival where the magnificent displays and a programme of activities from Japan await. The collection contains plants from tropical, temperate, arid and alpine climates, which are grown out in the gardens and in controlled conditions within glasshouses and nurseries.
Day 2
After breakfast we head for maritime Greenwich, a world heritage site famous for its splendid historic landmarks including the National Maritime Museum, the Cutty Sark and the fascinating Royal Observatory, home of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the Prime Meridian of the world and London's Planetarium. Mid-afternoon we begin our homeward journey.
