DAY 1
With comfort stops along the way, we travel to our exquisite hotel in Kamp Bornhofen, one of the most beautiful areas in Germany. On arrival we enjoy a complimentary Schnapps!
DAY 2
After breakfast we visit the charming twin-towns of Bernkastel - Kues, split by the River Mosel they form what is often referred to as 'the heart of the beautiful Middle Mosel'. Bernkastel?Kues is a quintessential medieval German town with many charming half?timbered houses from the Middle Ages and attractions like the historic market square and the Landshut Castle ruins.
DAY 3
Celebrate Christmas day at leisure in our wonderful hotel, surrounded by friends old and new. After breakfast perhaps enjoy a little rest and relaxation in the wellness centre, complete with a whirlpool, sauna and solarium. Throughout the day you can enjoy a traditional festive lunch and a candle?lit Christmas dinner followed by entertainment and dancing this evening.
DAY 4
Avoid the Boxing Day 'mayhem' back home as we travel to the most romantic part of the Moselle Valley and the old town of Cochem. Made up of half-timbered houses, scurrying streets and medieval gates, under the steady watch of the romantic Reichsburg castle. Afterwards, we travel to Boppard, for free time. Scenically located on a bend in the river, it is one of the Rhine's prettiest towns. Explore its array of charming half?timbered buildings, with snug wine taverns serving Riesling from grapes grown nearby, in some of the Rhine's steepest vineyards!
DAY 5
Shortly after breakfast we visit Rüdesheim for free time. Located in the Rhine River gorge, it is a picturesque winemaking town (most famous for its production of Asbach Brandy that's been in production since 1892) complete with narrow cobblestone alleys and timber?framed taverns. This afternoon, we take you to Wiesbaden, for the remainder of the day. In the 19th century the city was planned to be a place of well?being, luxury and beauty - and that's exactly what it turned out to be! Today you can enjoy exploring the city's grand architecture from neo?classical to Art Nouveau.
DAY 6
We wave goodbye to our wonderful hosts and retrace our footsteps back home.
