DAY 1
With comfort stops along the way, we travel to our hotel in Kamp Bornhofen, one of the most beautiful areas in Germany. On arrival we enjoy a complimentary Schnapps!
DAY 2
This morning we take you to Rüdesheim Christmas Market. Located in the popular 'Drosselgasse' area in the historic city centre. This famous street is festively decorated with sparkling lights and decorations during Christmas time, and 'stuffed' with over 120 stalls representing 12 countries, and customers and traditions from around the world. After some free time, we visit Wiesbaden Christmas Market, considered to be among the most attractive in Germany. Here, treat yourself to some 'Bethmännchen,' which is marzipan decorated with almond slices before we return to our hotel.
DAY 3
After breakfast, we travel to Bonn's traditional Christmas Market. Throughout December the beautiful old town hall is transformed into an enormous Advent calendar, with one more window being lit up each day! Browse at the traditional huts along Munsterplatz, Bottlerplatz, Windeckstrasse, Friedensplatz and Vivatsgasse where you can find everything from arts and crafts items to hot mead and mulled wine.
DAY 4
Bursting with festive cheer and Riesling (German wine), we retrace our footsteps back home.
Rhein Hotel Wagner **, Kamp-Bornhofen
Our hotel in Kamp-Bornhofen is a 3-minute walk from the River Rhine and offers a spa with sauna, hot tub and solarium, as well as a traditional restaurant with garden terrace and complimentary Wi-Fi.
