Day 1
We travel to our overnight hotel.
Day 2
We collect our breakfast bags and drive to Poole for our sailing to the island of Guernsey, the second-largest island in the Channel Islands, where we will enjoy a 3-night half board stay.
Day 3
This morning we have arranged for a local guide and coach to collect you from your hotel and whisk you away for a half day's tour of the idyllic island. A great way to get your bearings, this fun and energetic tour will provide you with great information about the island and includes leisurely stops at some places of interest. In the afternoon, we visit Herm. This tiny island measures just a mile and a half long but is steeped in magnificent history. Perhaps enjoy a leisurely walk around its scenic coastal path, the gentle route takes you across the Common (also home to many heritage sites dating back to the 1800s) to the stunning Shell Beach.
Day 4
Home to stunning beaches, particularly along the north coast, rugged cliffs in the south and a lively compact capital of St Peter Port, enjoy free time exploring Guernsey at your own pace today. Or maybe you would prefer to join us on our optional excursion to Sark*? Considered the crown jewel of the Channel Islands, prepare to step back in time on this visit to beautiful Sark. With cars prohibited, our excursion includes a two-hour horse drawn carriage ride so you can explore the Island's unspoilt landscape and charming unpaved roads.
Day 5
Today we sail across to Jersey, for the second half of our holiday where we will enjoy a 3-night half board stay.
Day 6
To help you discover the very best of Jersey, today we have arranged a local guide and coach to pick you up from the hotel and take you on a fascinating full day tour of the island! Lap up the stunning scenery and superb beaches on the largest of the Channel Islands.
Day 7
Jersey is a haven for historians, shopaholics, and beach lovers alike. From magnificent castles and museums to fascinating wildlife, enjoy exploring Jersey at your own pace. Some key sights include the Durrell Wildlife Park and the thought-provoking Jersey War Tunnels, a former WWII underground military base.
Day 8
We retrace our footsteps home, via a return ferry crossing back to Poole.
Saints Bay Hotel ***, St Martins, Guernsey
Named after the picturesque bay, Saints Bay Hotel, located in St. Martins has a highly commended status awarded by the Guernsey Tourist Board. Renowned for its hospitality, the hotel features a bar, restaurant, and a large pool-side patio.
