DAY 1
This morning we take you to St Albans for a little bit of free time. This unique English Cathedral city has an interesting history that can be seen by just looking at the Roman remains and beautiful medieval architecture. Later, we continue to our hotel in Kent.
DAY 2
After breakfast we visit McArthurGlen's Ashford Designer Outlet, home to over 90 retailers including Jack Wills, Kurt Geiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Ted Baker with up to 60% off the recommended retail price - the perfect place to pick up a stocking filler, or two! Later, we travel to Canterbury for free time, perhaps visit the magnificent Cathedral - Seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury and the centre point of any visit to Canterbury. The Cathedral dates-back to 597AD and is one of the most visited places in the country. There may also be the opportunity to wander amongst Canterbury's beautiful Christmas Market, selling festive food, drinks, arts, crafts, and gifts in the heart of the history city.
DAY 3
We begin our journey across the Channel to Bruges, the 'Venice of the North' famous for chocolate and lace. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its fairy?tale medieval centre is a harmony of cobbled lanes and dreamy canals, that link market squares lined with soaring towers and historic churches.
Please note: There will be no dinner this evening at the hotel due to a late arrival back from Bruges.
DAY 4
After an enchanting stay we retrace our footsteps home.
