DAY 1
Wrap up warm as we visit the captivating city of Durham, home to cobbled streets crowned by the dramatic Durham Cathedral. Explore the cathedral's fascinating heritage and enjoy some of the special carol services or Christmas concerts. After some free time here, we continue to our hotel with time to settle in before dinner.
DAY 2
After breakfast we will enjoy a short photo opportunity at the Angel of the North, the UK's most famous piece of public art, before travelling to Beamish Living Museum of the North. The town is brought back to a previous life dramatically by costumed actors, and you can enjoy every day working demonstrations of life in a bye gone era. Buy freshly baked bread, visit the traditional 1900's pub, the Sun Inn or café, and buy souvenirs of your visit.

DAY 3
After breakfast we enjoy some free time in the walled city of York. With more attractions per square mile than anywhere else in the UK, why not follow the 'Selfie Trail' ? follow the footprints around the city and discover some of York's most iconic photo spots, including the Shambles Market Sign, York Minster, the City Walls and York Railway Station.
