Day 1
With a comfort break along the way we travel to our hotel in the pretty village of Drymen. Afterwards, settle in, take a walk around the village or enjoy a malt whisky in the Ptarmigan Bar.
DDay 2
Shortly after breakfast we travel to Stirling for free time. Stirling’s beautifully preserved Old Town is a treasure trove of historic buildings including the glorious Stirling Castle, an imposing fortress that was one of Scotland’s most historically important sites. On our return to the hotel we enjoy a photo stop at the impressive Kelpies, the world’s largest equine sculptures. Later, take some free time to relax and enjoy your surroundings.
B, DDay 3
Today we will travel the short distance to Tarbet, where we board our boat for a sailing on Loch Lomond. With tea, coffee and a shortbread served on board, our cruise will take us past Arklet Waterfalls, Honeymoon Island and across the deepest part of the Loch with live commentary. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Scottish dinner and show, as we celebrate ‘Hogmanay’. In true Scottish style, don’t forget to take advantage of the free bar!
B, DDay 4
Enjoy a farewell hot toddy before we return home, full of festive ‘spirit’.
