Following on from the latest Government announcement today that Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire is to enter 'Tier 3' from Thursday 3rd December we have taken the difficult decision to cancel ALL of our operating day excursions and holidays up until Tuesday 15th December.
Skills Holidays will also remain closed until further notice.
If you have a booking during these dates, please DO NOT try to contact us. We are working to a plan, contacting passengers in date order and rest assured we will be getting in touch with you as soon as we can.

If your trip has been affected by COVID 19 we shall give you priority to transfer your booking to a holiday or day excursion departing next year, all bookings will automatically be issued with a credit note and the expiry date extended accordingly. This applies to holiday voucher's that may expire during the national pandemic.
If you have booked a trip with a 3rd party agent through Skills, Please e-mail email@example.com stating your SMC booking reference number, date of departure and operator and we will respond accordingly.
The Tier restrictions are to be reviewed on Tuesday 15th December, we are currently working alongside our trusted and compliant hoteliers trying to arrange a plan for our Christmas departures and when we have this in place we will be in touch with everyone who has a booking. But this relies heavily on the next Government announcement.

From tomorrow, Wednesday 14th October, the government has announced a new three tier approach -
Tier 1 Medium Risk
Tier 2 High Risk
Tier 3 Very High Risk
The area of Nottingham will enter the High local COVID alert level, or Tier 2.
For our customers who live in Nottingham who are booked on trips departing within the next 4 weeks, if you are travelling with someone who doesnt live within the same household, we shall contact you to aim to source single rooms and to sit you according to Covid guidance on the coach. Please be aware that we will be contacting customers in departure date order and we would kindly ask you to bear with us while we work through the bookings.
Residents in Tier 1 or Tier 2 areas ARE still allowed to travel to other Tier 1 or Tier 2 destinations.
Following the announcement yesterday Liverpool City will be placed on the Very High (Tier 3) Covid alert level from tomorrow, Wednesday 14th October. Therefore, we see no possibility of running coach trips to, from or within a Very High risk designated area and it is advised that whilst travel through areas in permitted, journeys should not involve any stops. If you were booked on to a tour which has now been affected, we will contact you. Please DO NOT try and contact us by phone as we are working to a plan in order to get to everyone in turn.

We are really pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Visit Britains Good to Go Status. Were Good To Go is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
Weve put a lot of hard work into our risk assessments, safe operating procedures and coach capacity guidelines, and we are proud of the new measures we have in place, so it is great that this has been recognised and we are excited about welcoming you back on board our coaches. In line with the latest Government guidelines we are now able to start our phased reopening and as a result, our travel shops in:
are all now OPEN! Monday Friday between 10am 3pm. Our Nottingham travel shop is also open every Saturday between 10am 12pm only. However, should you wish to visit us in store there are additional safety measures and social distancing in place at our travel shops, and we kindly as that you please pay close attention to the safety notices on display.
If you are unable to travel and wish to cancel please send your cancellation to firstname.lastname@example.org. Those unable to travel due to shielding from COVID-19 will be honoured with a holiday voucher to the sum of monies paid upon the receipt of a doctors note.
We appreciate that everybodys situation in these challenging times is different, and many of you may still not be able to travel with us yet. Thats why if youve had a Skills holiday or day trip affected by COVID-19 you can now re-book onto any of our holidays, using the value of your credit note, until 31st December 2021. So, theres no need to rush, and we look forward to welcoming you back when you are ready.
Dependant on the date issued on your credit note letter you are eligible for reimbursement of your cancelled departure AFTER July 31st, please contact 08456 66 55 44* or 0115 977 0080 or visit one of our retail travel shops. You will require your booking T reference together with your 16-digit credit note reference number for this purpose. Please be patient and kind to our staff as we are working as hard as we can to get through all enquiries as soon as possible.
We are delighted to announce that our holiday programme will be re-starting from Monday 20th July with our first departure scheduled for the Isle of Wight. We are operating on skeleton staff but our commercial product team are working day and night to check each hotels risk assessment and also those of the attractions included, to ensure that their procedures, as well as ours, provide for complete safety for our passengers and staff, as well as making sure that the holiday is fully enjoyable.
We will continue to review events and attractions throughout the year that may still be cancelled due to COVID-19 and those passengers who are affected will be contacted accordingly. We appreciate you may hear in the news about events, further into the year, being cancelled however we will be working in date order, in order to reach all our customers, so your continued patience is still appreciated.
