Today we will visit beautiful Bakewell for their traditional market day! Located on Market Street and Granby Road, the Bakewell market is the only market like this that takes place in the Peak District National Park and hosts 162 stalls selling traditional crafts and locally produced food.
This day trip also takes us to Wirksworth, located in the scenic Derbyshire Dales it is one of the oldest towns in the Peak District. Today, centred around its marketplace, you can explore fine old buildings with picturesque alleys and craftsman’s yards.
The historic city of Chester has lots to offer, whether you wish to stroll around the city walls or shop in the many specialist shops and famous international stores.
Enjoy a fascinating guided-tour around the Poppy Factory in Richmond, Surrey. Firstly we take you to Kingston-on-Thames for a little bit of free time. On our arrival at the Poppy Factory we enjoy a light lunch of Soup and bread before enjoying a guided tour! The tour includes a presentation and introductory film about the factory and its history before a visit to the ‘shop floor’, giving you the opportunity to see how poppies and wreaths are made.
After a phenomenal visit in 2017, we return to celebrate Easter in Eastbourne. Returning to the Cumberland Hotel which overlooks the seafront, you’re perfectly situated to explore Eastbourne’s Victorian pier, award-winning sandy beach and colourful gardens in bloom. We also include excursions to the iconic Beachy Head, wonderful Brighton and Royal Tunbridge Wells.
