Day 2 – This morning we travel through the spectacular scenery of the Snowdonia National Park as we make our way to the seaside town of Porthmadog (via the pretty village of Beddgelert). Here we will board our train on the Ffestiginog Railway. Sit back and relax as we enjoy the dramatic views of mountains, lakes and waterfalls. Afterwards, we visit Betws-y-Coed for some free time. Nestled at the heart of the Conwy Valley the towns magical setting has a distinctly Alpine feel enchanced only by the dense Gwydyr Forest which surround Betws-y-Coed.
Day 3 – Enjoy a day at leisure today, to do as much or as little as you like!
Day 4 – Today we take a return journey on the Snowdon Mountain Railway to the rooftop of Wales and weather permitting we’ll be rewarded with some fantastic views. At 35650ft, Mount Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales! The Visitor Centre has a café and a gift shop for you to enjoy. This afternoon we enjoy a ride on the Llanberis Lake Railway, a narrow-gauge railway which follows the stunning shores of the lake.
Day 5 – After breakfast we travel to Llandudno for a journey on The Great Orme Tramway – Britain’s only cable-hauled street Tramway. The Tramway, which comprises of four original Victorian Tramcars, is a unique experience offering fantastic views of Llandudno’s sweeping bays and the Great Orme. After some free time, we return home.
