HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR STAY
Day 1 – After an early start we travel to the Hotel Alfa Inn, in Blankenberge, Belgium.
Day 2 – After breakfast we travel to Bruges, a city that will capture your heart. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its fairy‐tale medieval centre is a harmony of cobbled lanes and dreamy canals that link market squares lined with soaring towers and historic churches. Later, we travel the short distance to the Castle of Groot‐Bijgaarden. Dating back to the 14th and 17th century, this mysterious castle admirably blends Medieval and Flemish Renaissance styles and is only open to the public during Floralia Brussels. When the 14‐hectares of gardens burst into bloom.
Day 3 – This morning we visit Ghent for some free time. Ghent is a compact, authentic city where the past and present co‐exist in perfect balance. Head to Graslei‐Korenlei, this medieval port is home to a unique row of historic buildings including the Cooremetershuys (Guild house of the grain weighers), The Guild House of the Free Sailors and Het Spijker (a granary) – all impressive reminders of the city’s economic growth. After some free time we return to Bruges, where you can enjoy the remainder of the day.
Day 4 – We retrace our footsteps home.
