Day 1 – Following our departure we travel to the Hotel Walram in Valkenburg.
Day 2 – After breakfast we take you to Zundert for free time. This Dutch village, close to the Belgian border, buzzes with thousands of visitors drawn by the beautiful and surreal floats made from locally grown dahlias. This annual event is one of Europe’s most magnificent spectacles, and during the event the town pulls out all the stops!
Day 3 – This morning we visit the fortified town of Arcen where we have included admission into Arcen Castle and Gardens. The Duke of Guelders rebuilt this spectacular 17th century castle in 1674. However, for many, the highlight is a stroll through the grounds of the estate, marvelling at the rich and varied gardens.
Day 4 – We retrace our footsteps back home.
