DURING YOUR STAY

Day 1 – Our first stop today is in Cambridge; perhaps take this opportunity to enjoy a leisurely break in a charming café or tearoom in the bustling Market Square. After some free time, we travel to our hotel.

Day 2 – We visit Canterbury for a relaxing cruise along the peaceful River Stour – flowing through the heart of historic Canterbury, this is the perfect way to escape the crowds and enjoy some of Canterbury’s most stunning and important architectural highlights!

Afterwards, enjoy free time in Canterbury before we return to our hotel.

Day 3 – After a leisurely morning, we take you to Herne Bay for free time. With two miles of coastlines, colourful beach huts, seafront gardens and a bustling pier – Herne Bay is the epitome of the traditional British seaside resort.

Day 4 – Today we visit Chatham Docks, where our very own ‘midwife’ will greet us on the Second World War Destroyer HMS CAVALIER to begin our “Call the Midwife Tour.”

The midwife will take you on a guided tour of the various film locations used in the hit BBC Drama ‘Call The Midwife’. The Historic Dockyards authentic cobbled streets and fine Georgian and Victorian architecture have provided the backdrop for an array of period films since the 1980s and after your guided tour why not follow the special film trail?

Day 5 – We return back to the East Midlands.
