On the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month we will remember them. Join us in London for a special weekend of Remembrance held by The Royal British Legion, as we join them in honour of those lost in battle at their annual Silence in the Square event in Trafalgar Square and the veterans March Past the Cenotaph in Whitehall.  


2 nights’ bed & breakfast;
Visits to St. Albans and the Imperial War Museum;
Free time in London and Whitehall for the special Armistice Day events


Day 1 – After departure we enjoy a leisurely break in St Albans, adorned with a host of eateries from every corner of the globe and home to the CAMRA – the Campaign for Real Ale – this is a great place to enjoy a spot of lunch in a nearby pub or restaurant. After a little free time we continue to our 4* hotel in London.

Day 2 – Today our coach will drop you off close to Trafalgar Square where the Royal British Legion will be hosting their special Silence in the Square event from 10am. The proceedings will include musical performances and readings from a variety of artists leading to the two minutes silence held at 11am. Afterwards we visit the Imperial War Museum where visitors can discover the stories of people experiences of modern war from World War 1 to recent conflicts today.

Day 3 – After breakfast we travel to Whitehall for the National Service of Remembrance parade which takes place at the Cenotaph. The veterans March Past is for British and Commonwealth former military and civilian Service personnel to honour the fallen of the British Armed Forces involved in the two World Wars and all conflicts since. After paying our final respects we begin our journey home.
