Embark on an in-depth exploration through Poland as we explore the ancient city squares and UNESCO World Heritage sites of this amazing city. On this fascinating break we have included guided tours of Wrocław, followed by a cruise along the River Odra and Kraków where you will see Wawel Castle; once home to the kings of Imperial Poland. Discover the tragic reality of Auschwitz during a morning visit followed by an evening meal in an authentic restaurant in Kraków.  And if that wasn’t enough we also include a guided tour of Zakopane followed by a ride on the Gubałówka funicular railway to see the breath-taking Tatra Mountains.

Day 1 – Following an early morning departure we set sail to the Continent and travel to our overnight hotel for 1 night dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 2 – After breakfast we head to our first hotel in Wrocław  for 1 night dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 3 – Today we have arranged a guided city tour of Wrocław on foot idyllically located on the River Odra, the city has a unique architectural and cultural make-up of Bohemian, Austrian and Prussian influences (walking required). After our tour we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Odra. Known as the ‘Venice of Poland’ Wrocław is built on 12 islands and boasts more than 100 pretty bridges for you to enjoy. Later this afternoon we take you to the second hotel in Kraków for 4 nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 4 – After breakfast we have arranged for a city guide to meet you at the hotel and take you on a guided walking city tour of Kraków Old Town filled with soaring churches, impressive museums and the Rynek Główny – Europe’s largest market square. The afternoon is at leisure; perhaps continue to explore Kraków, Poland’s capital of culture.

Day 5 – Today we visit Auschwitz – the largest of the German Nazi concentration camps, where we have arranged a guided tour of the three main camps. This afternoon we return to the hotel to freshen up before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant in Kraków

Day 6 – Enjoy a full day in Zakopane, a resort town in southern Poland with a tour guide who will tell us everything we need to know about Poland’s best-known mountain range! Today we have also included a ride on the Gubałówka funicular railway climbing around 300 meters the railway provides spectacular panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains! Our final dinner together is at a traditional Jewish restaurant accompanied by live music.

Day 7 – After breakfast we make our way back to our overnight hotel.

Day 8 – After breakfast we make our way to the ferry crossing and retrace our footsteps home.
