DURING YOUR STAY
Day 1 – After an early morning departure we make our way to the ferry crossing and set sail for Ireland. Later we travel to our hotel in Carlow for 3 nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2 – This morning we visit Kilkenny, where we have included entry into the Smithwick's Experience, which takes visitors on a journey through over 300 years of brewing history behind Ireland’s most popular ale finished with a complimentary pint of Smithwick’s! Named as one of the top 26 hottest new attractions in the world to visit in 2016 it is a must see when in Kilkenny. Tonight’s dinner at the hotel will be followed by traditional Irish music.
Day 3 – After breakfast we visit the Irish National Stud & Japanese Gardens, a unique attraction of outstanding natural beauty that is home to some of the most magnificent horses and sumptuous gardens to be found anywhere in the world. After some free time we return to the hotel where you can spend your afternoon at leisure.
Day 4 – Enjoy some free time in Carlow this morning, home to Carlow Castle, a 13th century castle, Carlow Cathedral and the Country Museum. This afternoon we take you to Altamont Gardens, an enchanting blend of formal and informal gardens to explore. Afterwards we make our way via Wicklow to Bray where we check into our hotel for 1 night dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 5 – After breakfast we retrace our footsteps home.
