Tucked away in the mountains of the Pyrenees between France and Spain, the Principality of Andorra is a land of narrow valleys and mountainous landscapes. Picturesque villages host Romanesque churches and houses, built in a unique, local style that have been preserved through the country’s seclusion and if you happen to wander off the beaten track you’re likely to find a Pyrenean spot to call your own.

Day 3 – This morning we have arranged a visit to Mont-Louis, at 1600 meters altitude Mont-Louis is France’s highest fortified town and is home to one of the finest examples of military architecture of the 17th Century. This afternoon enjoy time at leisure in your resort of El Tarter, a small resort offering a relaxed atmosphere or perhaps visit Andorra La Vella and take advantage of its duty free shopping opportunities (a 30 minute bus ride from El Tarter).

Day 4 – After a leisurely morning at the hotel we have planned a scenic tour of Andorra on our coach, stopping at Andorra La Vella – the capital of Andorra.

Day 5 – Today we have arranged a full day excursion on the Núria rack railway to the Vall de Núria in the Pyrenees. Located 3000 metres above sea level it is the only way to access this perfect little valley, hidden from view. The railway climbs through wild mountain scenery as you experience a world of sensations journeying through a breath-taking landscape which is simply unmissable.

Day 6 – We make our way back to our overnight hotel for 1 night bed and breakfast.

Day 7 – After breakfast we make our way to the ferry crossing and retrace our footsteps home.
