Day at leisure in Kirchberg


Day 1 – We take you south for the crossing to France, we continue to our overnight hotel.

Day 2 – We continue our journey into Austria arriving at our hotel for a five nights’ all-inclusive stay.

Day 3 – - Spend today exploring the beautiful surroundings in Kirchberg, take a short walk to the tranquil lake and relax by the water’s edge or browse amongst the numerous shops and cafes within the town. Lunch, afternoon tea and other drinks will all be available at the hotel today.

Day 4 – After breakfast we collect our packed lunch from the hotel and prepare for a trip to Innsbruck, the regional capital is squeezed between two impressive mountains. And the many historical sites: The Imperial Palace, Ambras Palace, Ottoburg and the Wilten Basilica all tell of Innsbruck’s eventful past and its great figures Andreas Hofer, the Tirolean freedom fighter and Emperor Maximilian I, who built many of the monuments that survive today, including the Golden Roof and his tomb at the Imperial Church.

Day 5 – We collect our packed lunched again today and travel south across the famous Thurn Pass towards Krimml Waterfalls. Here enjoy free time to marvel at these spectacular waterfalls before we continue along the famous Gerlos Pass and descend into the enchanting Ziller Valley.

Day 6 – Today we have planned an excursion to Zell am See, nestled on the shores of lovely Lake Zell, it creates the perfect setting in which to enjoy your packed lunch. Afterwards, wander through the medieval centre and along the lake shore.

Day 7 –After breakfast we retrace our steps enjoying spectacular views along the way until we reach our overnight hotel.

Day 8 – After breakfast we travel to Calais for our return sailing and continue our journey home.
