Day 1
We travel to our hotel stunningly situated in the heart of the beautiful Westmeath Lakelands. Nestled in countryside, this luxurious four-star hotel is noted for its delicious fine dining, attentive service and superb leisure facilities. For the ultimate relaxing experience during our break we can provide midweek spa discounts – please call for more information.
DDay 2
Today we visit Dublin to experience the city’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations, including the opportunity to see the world-famous parade which starts at midday. We return to the hotel for dinner followed by an evening of live musical entertainment to celebrate ‘St Paddy’s Day’ into the night.
Day 3
This morning we visit Athlone, an historic town commonly known as the ‘Gateway to the West’. Why not visit Athlone Castle, a major attraction that features a visitor centre. We then visit Galway, internationally known for its friendly people and charming streets. Perhaps visit the Galway City Museum, a modern, spacious building that is home to a fabulous collection of Galway’s history and heritage.
Day 4
After our final breakfast we travel to Dublin for our return crossing to Holyhead before we make our way home.
